(A) A service charge of $16 is assessed to the customer for the initial connection of service.
(B) A service charge of $16 is assessed to the customer for any interim meter reading, changes in account name, or substantial changes in the customer record.
(C) There are no service charges for responses to service requests arising from voltage variances or interruptions in service made during regular working hours. There are no charges for these requests for service during non-working hours provided that:
(1) The request is for restoration of an existing service;
(2) The service is not one which will only be provided during regular working hours. Street lights or security lights will only be restored during regular working hours; and/or
(3) The cause of the outage or service problem is not the responsibility of the customer.
(D) If TCED responds to a customer's request for service, at other than regular working hours, and the cause of the service problem is determined to be the customer's responsibility, then the customer may be charged a service fee for the call out.
