§ 151.69 REGISTRATION OF PLUMBERS REQUIRED.
   Any plumbing contractor desiring to actively engage in the business of plumbing and hydronic heating in the city and jurisdictional area shall be licensed by the state and register with the City Clerk-Treasurer. The plumbing contractor shall submit his or her application for registration accompanied by a fee of $20, the posting of a performance bond of $1,000, and a copy of his or her state plumbing contractor's license to the Clerk-Treasurer. Upon receipt of the application for registration, the Clerk-Treasurer shall submit the same to a Board of Registration consisting of one Council member, the Director of Planning and Development, and one citizen member familiar with the plumbing business. Upon determining that the application and State License are in order, the Board shall within 24 hours direct the Clerk-Treasurer to issue an original certificate of registration to the applicant. The Certificate of Registration shall be for a period of one year, renewable annually at a fee of $20.
