§ 112.04 CONDITIONS FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENSE.
   (A)   The Clerk-Treasurer shall issue a transient merchant license to any person applying for the license, subject to the following conditions:
      (1)   The applicant has sufficiently established that he or she has been issued a valid retail merchant certificate by the State Department of Revenue;
      (2)   The applicant has tendered to the Clerk-Treasurer the sum of $100 for a transient merchant license for a period not to exceed one week;
      (3)   The applicant has tendered to the Clerk-Treasurer the sum of $250 for a transient merchant license for a period not to exceed one month; and/or
      (4)   The applicant has tendered to the Clerk-Treasurer the sum of $500 for a transient merchant license for the period not to exceed one year.
   (B)   The Clerk-Treasurer shall issue a door-to-door solicitation license to any person applying for the license, subject to the following conditions:
      (1)   The applicant has tendered to the Clerk-Treasurer the sum of $100 for a door-to-door solicitation license for a period not to exceed one week;
      (2)   The applicant has tendered to the Clerk-Treasurer the sum of $250 for a door-to-door solicitation license for a period not to exceed one month; and/or
      (3)   The applicant has tendered to the Clerk-Treasurer the sum of $500 for a door-to-door solicitation license for a period not to exceed one year.
   (C)   (1)   It shall be unlawful for any transient merchant to engage in, or to attempt to engage in, any business within the corporate limits of the City of Tell City, Indiana, until said transient merchant has applied for and obtained from the City Clerk-Treasurer a transient merchant license. Said transient merchant license application shall include any and all information as may be required by the City Clerk-Treasurer. Upon approval of any such application, a permit shall be issued, and all vendors and their employees shall be provided with identification badges which must be displayed at all times while engaged in any business within the corporate limits of the City of Tell City.
      (2)   Upon receipt of a permit, a transient merchant shall only operate within the corporate limits of the City of Tell City between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in, or to attempt to engage in, any door-to-door solicitation for any reason within the corporate limits of the City of Tell City, Indiana until said person has applied for and obtained from the Clerk-Treasurer for the City of Tell City a door-to-door solicitation license. Said door-to-door solicitation license application shall include any and all information as may be required by the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Tell City. Upon approval of any such application, a permit shall be issued, and all vendors and their employees shall be provided with identification badges which must be displayed at all times while engaged in any business within the corporate limits of the City of Tell City.
