(A) It shall be unlawful for any transient merchant to engage in, or to attempt to engage in, any business within the corporate limits of the city until the transient merchant has applied for and obtained from the City Clerk-Treasurer a transient merchant license.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to engage, or attempt to engage in, any door-to-door solicitation for any reason within the corporate limits of the city until the person has first applied for and obtained from the Clerk-Treasurer a door-to-door solicitation license.
