§ 30.50 CLERK-TREASURER.
   (A)   The Clerk-Treasurer is the Fiscal Officer of the city and the head of the fiscal branch. He or she shall perform the duties as prescribed by I.C. 36-4-10 et seq. and any other duties as the Common Council may require by ordinance.
   (B)   The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized, pursuant to I.C. 36-4-11-4, as amended, to appoint one Deputy Clerk-Treasurer to be paid solely from funds appropriated for the office of Clerk-Treasurer. The Deputy shall work under the exclusive direction of the Clerk-Treasurer, and serve at the pleasure of the Clerk-Treasurer.

   (C)   The Clerk-Treasurer shall furnish space within his or her office for the administrative records of the city's utilities. The Clerk-Treasurer shall be compensated for services he or she shall render to the city's utilities.
