§ 70.10 OBSTRUCTING VEGETATION.
   (A)   In order that the view of persons driving along the streets of the city at the intersections thereof may not be obstructed, nor the usefulness, convenience and safety of the public streets impaired, nor the public safety jeopardized thereby, it is hereby made unlawful for the owner of any real estate within the city at appropriate intersections to fail, refuse or neglect to trim trees, plants, flowers, shrubs, bushes or other vegetation of limbs, branches and leaves which hang down and obstruct the vision between a point 12 feet above the crown of any street where the vegetation is located nearer than 20 feet from the center of the radius of the particular intersection.
   (B)   In the event that any obstruction to the view of any street intersection shall be maintained in violation of this section, the Street Commissioner and any other employees or agents of the City Street Department are hereby given power and authority to enter upon the real estate and/or upon the lot and to remove any obstructions to the view and/or trim any plants, flowers, shrubs, bushes, trees or other vegetation which conflict with the requirements of this section.
   (C)   The fine for the failure on the part of any landowner to comply with the requirements of this section shall be in accordance with the fine schedule of the Ordinance Violations Bureau referred to in § 37.03.
