§ 130.16 USE OF THE COUNTY BOARDROOM.
   (A)   Requests for use of the county boardroom by any person shall be made in writing to the County Administrator on forms provided by the Administrator. Any such request shall be delivered to the County Administrator at least one week prior to the event. Forms may be obtained from the Administrator’s Office. Any applicant may appeal the decision of the Administrator to the Executive Committee within seven days after receipt of the Administrator’s decision.
   (B)   It is intended that the use of the county boardroom shall be limited to lawful meetings, gatherings and assemblages of every kind that are either directly or indirectly of a political nature or in which any way involve matters of public issue.
   (C)   Use of the county boardroom shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
   (D)   The decision as to the schedule of events in the boardroom is within the discretion of the County Administrator.
   (E)   No admission charge may be established for any event in the county boardroom.
   (F)   No solicitation for membership or for donations to any group or organization may be made at any time within the boardroom.
   (G)   No food or beverage may be sold within the areas of the boardroom without the prior approval of the County Administrator.
   (H)   The sale, distribution, and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited within the boardroom.
   (I)   Any items exhibited or displayed within the boardroom may not be offered for sale.
   (J)   Any erection of platforms, stalls, benches, tables, signs, banners, pennants, sound systems, and similar items must be approved in advance by the Maintenance Supervisor. The user of the boardroom shall be responsible for all the expenses which may be incurred in connection with said use, including, but not limited to, erection or removal of platforms, chairs, signs, banners, pennants, sound systems, special lighting, and cleanup and restoration of the boardroom to the same condition as prior to its use.
   (K)   The display or hanging of materials or items in the boardroom through the use of tape, glue, nails, tacks, and the like is prohibited except with the consent of the Maintenance Supervisor.
   (L)   The county is not responsible for any loss or damage to the user of the boardroom of any materials or items displayed or exhibited, and the user shall be at their sole risk for loss.
   (M)   Any user of the county boardroom shall indemnify and hold harmless the Board and the county from and against any and all loss, cost, damages, or expenses of persons or property of the county or third persons arising out of or claiming to have arisen out of such use of the county boardroom.
