§ 130.02 DEFINITIONS.

   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

   COUNTY. The County of Tazewell, a body politic and corporate.

   COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR. The person appointed by the County Board consistent with §§ 30.01 through 30.10.

   COUNTY BOARD. The County Board of Tazewell County.

   COUNTY COURTHOUSE. The building improvement located within the area bounded by __________, _______, ________, and ________, all located in the City of Pekin, Tazewell County.

   COUNTY COURTHOUSE SQUARE. The area bounded by ______, ________, ______, and ________, all located in the City of Pekin, Tazewell County, excluding the building improvement commonly known as the Tazewell County Courthouse.

   COUNTY SHERIFF. The person duly elected by the citizens of the county who is authorized to enforce the laws of the state and all county ordinances, including this chapter.

   MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR. The person in charge of the county’s Facilities Maintenance Department who is responsible for the care and maintenance of the County Courthouse and the County Courthouse Square.

   PERSON. Any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, governmental unit, company, or organization of any kind.
