§ 111.26 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person, either by himself herself or his or her agent , or for any person acting as an agent, barkeeper, clerk, or servant of another, to sell or offer for sale at retail within the county, any alcoholic liquor without having first obtained a license therefor, as hereinafter provided. It shall likewise be unlawful for any such person to sell or offer for sale any alcoholic liquor other than as provided in this chapter and the state’s Liquor Control Act, being 235 ILCS 5/1-1 et seq., as amended.
