It shall be the duty of the owner of every well serving as a water supply for more than one residence to have the water therein bacteriologically analyzed and approved at such times as required by the County Health Department; however, such analysis shall be made by either the laboratory of the state’s Department of Public Health or a laboratory approved by the County Health Department. In addition, such water shall be analyzed as aforesaid whenever the water lines are opened up for additional service to new residences or other residences which have not heretofore been supplied from said well. A copy of the analysis shall be filed with the County Health Department.
