(A) Nothing in this subchapter is meant to augment or diminish existing opportunities for public participation.
(B) The county shall hold at minimum one public hearing, allowing the public the opportunity to present evidence and cross examine the petitioner. Said hearing shall take place no more than 45 days following the filing of the application and decision shall be rendered in not more than 30 days following the public hearing.
