3.08.020: PURPOSE:
The Utah legislature has authorized municipalities to adopt an ordinance that imposes a one percent (1%) sales and use tax. It is the purpose of this section to conform the sales and use tax ordinance of the city to the requirements of the sales and use tax act, as amended. (Ord. 96-5, 4-17-1996)
