It is unlawful for any person to play or cause to be played amplified sound or music in a park without a permit from the City. Such permit may be denied where it is the reasonable belief of the City that such sound or music would have a propensity to disturb the peaceful enjoyment of the park by other members of the public or annoy residents neighboring the park. It shall be the responsibility of any person obtaining such permit to ensure that the permit is available for inspection by authorized personnel. The issuance of any permit does not exempt the holder thereof from applicable rules and regulations regarding noise emissions. (Ord. 06-06, 2-15-2006)
