The purpose of this chapter is to provide a process to name, or change the name of, a public place. The process provides for citizen input where applicable and a recommendation from a Naming Committee to the City Council. Names are to reflect the identity of the City and/or the local area and to ensure ease of identification for the public. (Ord. 17-22, 11-15-2017)
