The town reserves the right at any time to shut off the water in the mains in case of accidents, or for the purpose of making connections, alterations, or repairs, and it shall be the duty of the Superintendent of the Department to give one hour’s notice, if possible, to all the patrons within the district that shall be temporarily deprived of water. In case of an emergency, the water may be cut off without notice.
