(A) No person except the Superintendent of the Department, or the Chief of the Fire Department or someone authorized by same, shall take water from any fire hydrant, pipe or fountain, plug, street washer, draw cock, or hose, except for firefighting purposes or for the use of the Fire Department.
(B) All fire hydrants, including those maintained by the town, shall be carefully inspected and greased once every six months, and all gate valves shall be carefully inspected and tested at least once a year by the Superintendent of the Department.
