(A) Any violation of any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty has been enacted shall subject the violator to a civil penalty in the sum of $100 per day.
(1) A citation for said civil penalty shall be issued by the town Police Department.
(2) Each citation for a civil penalty must be paid within five business days of issuance.
(B) Each and every day that the violator continues in violation shall be a separate and distinct offense.
(C) The municipality may also, and in addition, seek any and all appropriate equitable remedies, injunctions, and/or abatement orders from the appropriate court of competent jurisdiction.
(D) Persons under the age of 16 who shall violate § 131.01 of this chapter or any part of same shall be tried and dealt with by the Clerk of the Superior Court, who is the Juvenile Judge of the county.
