The owner of an animal impounded under this subchapter may redeem the animal and regain possession thereof within 120 hours, five days after notice of impoundment is given or posted by complying with all applicable provisions of this chapter and paying a redemption fee of $18, plus a board fee of $2 for each day the animal is held at the animal shelter.
