§ 52.05 SEPARATE CONNECTIONS.
Except as otherwise provided in this section, each occupied building shall be connected separately and independently to the sewer system through a building sewer. Grouping of more than one occupied building on one building sewer shall not be permitted, except under special circumstances and for good sanitary reasons or other good cause shown, and then only after special permission of this borough, in writing, shall have been secured and subject to such rules, regulations and conditions as may be prescribed by this borough or its designee. Where more than one occupied building as herein before defined is contained in a separate structure, single common connection to the lateral of the sewer system may be permitted for accommodating all units contained in such structure, except that separate connections shall be required for each semi-detached or row-type house or structure.
