§ 51.02 TATAMY BOROUGH SEWER AUTHORITY.
   (A)   It is the desire of the borough to organize an authority under the provisions of 53 Pa.C.S. §§ 5601 et seq., as amended. It is the intention of said Council to organize such an authority.
   (B)   Proposed articles of incorporation of the authority in full will be as follows.
      (1)   The name of the authority shall be the “Tatamy Borough Sewer Authority”.
      (2)   This authority is formed under the Act of General Assembly of the Commonwealth, which was approved May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.
      (3)   No other authority organized under the Act or under the Act approved June 28, 1935, P.L. 463, is in existence in or for the said incorporating municipality, except as follows: “The Easton Area Joint Sewer Authority”, a Pennsylvania municipal authority, created by the City of Easton, the Boroughs of Stockertown, Tatamy, West Easton and Wilson, and the Townships of Bushkill, Forks, Palmer, Plainfield and Upper Nazareth.
      (4)   The purposes of the authority are as follows: to acquire, hold, construct, improve, maintain and operate, own, lease, either in the capacity of lessor or lessee, projects of the following kind and character, to wit: buildings and structures to be devoted wholly or partially for public use and for revenue purposes, sewers, sewer systems or part thereof, sewage treatment works including works for treating and disposing of industrial waste facilities, and all facilities in any way used, useful, necessary, convenient or incidental to the furtherance and operations of such projects.
      (5)   The name of the incorporating municipality is the Borough of Tatamy; and its address is 423 Broad Street, Tatamy, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
   (C)   The several officers of the borough are hereby authorized and directed to do and perform every lawful, requisite and convenient thing for the organization of the said authority which is provided and authorized by 53 Pa.C.S. §§ 5601 et seq.
