(A) Record keeping.
(1) The Fire Chief shall record pertinent data regarding each property protected by a key lock box.
(2) The Fire Chief shall include whatever information required for record keeping purposes.
(B) Registration fee. The registration fee of $25 shall be payable to the Borough Fire Company whenever a lock box is initially installed.
(C) Control of key lock box system. The Fire Department shall be in complete control of the key lock box system authorization operation. Each key lock box system shall utilize approved signatures from the Fire Department for the release of keys and all lock products from the manufacturer.
(D) Notification. In the event the owner or tenants changes the locks at any location covered by the key lock box system, the owner or tenant shall immediately notify the Fire Chief.
(E) Enforceability. This chapter may be enforced by the Borough Fire Department and/or Borough Code Enforcement Officer.
