Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction is guilty of a summary offense, be punishable:
(A) For a first offense, by a fine of $100; and
(B) For a subsequent offense, by a fine of not less than $200 or more than $500 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both, together with all costs of disposing of the vehicle under provisions of the Vehicle Code, 75 Pa.C.S. §§ 7301 et seq., as hereafter amended, supplemented, modified or re-enacted by the General Assembly of the state.
