(a) Prohibitions. No person shall violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Property Maintenance Code or fail to comply with any order made thereunder.
(b) Penalties. Whoever violates any section of this chapter shall be subject to the following penalties:
(1) Whosoever violates any section of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for each offense. Each day an offense occurs constitutes a separate offense.
(2) If within one year of the date of the offense, the offender has been convicted of or pleads guilty to another violation under this chapter, the offender is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
(c) Civil Remedies. The application of the penalty provided in subsection (b) hereof shall be in addition to and not in lieu of all civil remedies available for the enforcement of this chapter in the abatement of the nuisance and/or the enforced removal of prohibited conditions.
