A. The city of Sycamore hereby adopts and incorporates the provisions of the food handling regulation enforcement act 1 , as amended.
B. Home kitchen operations, as defined by the food handling regulation act, as amended, are permitted within the city of Sycamore. The sale of nonpotentially hazardous food by home kitchen operations is permitted in accordance with the food handling regulation enforcement act.
C. The city of Sycamore hereby authorizes home kitchen operations as described in section 3.6 of the food handling regulation enforcement act.
D. Home kitchen operations must be in compliance with all state and county laws and regulations which are applicable to said operations.
E. The notice to be provided to purchasers of nonpotentially hazardous baked goods produced by home kitchen operations in the city of Sycamore, as required by state law, shall be consistent with all applicable state and county laws and regulations. (Ord. 2015.06, 6-1-2015)
