4-1-9: FIRE PROTECTION TRAINING PROGRAM:

   A.   The City hereby elects to participate in the programs provided for in the Illinois Fire Protection Training Act. (Ord. 93.02, 5-3-1993)

   B.   The firefighter II certification and EMT-B certification and training or, alternatively, EMT-P training and certification must be completed by the applicant prior to a job offer. The failure of any applicant to complete such basic training and certification prior to a job offer will render that individual ineligible for employment. (Ord. 2002.15, 6-17-2002)
