It shall be unlawful for a "peddler" or "itinerant merchant" or "solicitor", as defined in section 3-4-1 of this chapter, to engage in such business within the city without first obtaining a permit therefor in compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
A violation of this section shall be subject to penalty as provided in the City of Sycamore Consolidated Fee Schedule. (1988 Code §14.401; amd. 1994 Code; Ord. 2005.78, 1-3-2006; Ord. 2023.04, 5-1-2023)
