A. Oath: Every officer of the City shall, before entering upon his duties, take the oath prescribed by law 1 . (1988 Code §8.106)
B. Bond: Every officer of the City shall, if required by the Council, before entering upon the duties of his office, give a bond in such amount as may be determined by the Council and with such sureties as it may approve, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of his office or position. (1988 Code §8.107)
