ORDINANCE NO. 2020.15

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 8, “WATER AND SEWER,” CHAPTER 5, “WATER AND SEWER RATES,” SECTION 8-5-1, “WATER RATES,” TO CREATE SUBSECTION 8-5-1.R, “WATER INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT FEE,” OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF SYCAMORE, ILLINOIS.

   NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Sycamore as follows:

That Title 8, “Water and Sewer,” Chapter 5, “Water and Sewer Rates,” Section 1, “Water Rates,” be amended by adding a new subsection R, “Water Infrastructure Improvement Fee,” as follows:

8-5-1: WATER RATES:

R. Water Infrastructure Improvement Fee:

Effective January 1, 2021, all users of the services supplied by the Municipal waterworks system of the city are hereby imposed a Water Infrastructure Improvement Fee at the following rates:

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on January 1, 2021, after its passage and approval as provided by law.

   Passed by the City Council of the City of Sycamore and approved by the Mayor of said City this 2nd day of November, 2020.
