It shall be unlawful to construct any accessory structure without first obtaining a permit from the Building Department indicating compliance with the standards herein. In cases where hardship or practical difficulty in carrying out the strict letter of this chapter is shown, the applicant for a permit may petition the Board of Zoning Appeals 1
for a variance as provided for zoning matters.
