7-1-17: SUPERVISION AND ENFORCEMENT:
All public streets, alleys, sidewalks and other public ways in the city shall be under the supervision of the city engineer. He shall be charged with the enforcement of all ordinance provisions relating to such public places (except traffic ordinances 1 ) and is hereby authorized to enforce such ordinances. (1988 Code §24.101)
