§ 93.07 STREET CUT PROCEDURE.
   The street cut procedure described in the images incorporated herein shall constitute the requirements for excavation and for restoration of streets and alleys within the town. Said street cut procedures are those adopted by the State Highway Commission and the State Department of Environmental Management, as currently required and as may be subsequently amended. All such excavation and restoration of streets and alleys shall be done under the requirements and supervision of the Town Maintenance Manager, or his or her designated inspector to ensure conformity with procedures as set forth at attached format for the town’s application for permit to excavate a street or alley right-of-way as shown herein.

(1) Removal of existing curb
(2) New curb shall have contraction joints (saw cut or tooled) every 10 feet and 15-inch expansion material every 100 feet
(3) New curb to be placed on compacted or undisturbed base
(4) New curb shall have 12:1 longitudinal slope at drive approaches, ramps and termination points
(5) Depress curb 4.5 inches for drive approaches
(6) All concrete shall be Class A, 4-inch max slump
(7) All disturbed/filled dirt areas shall be graded, seeded and strawed
(8) All asphalt cuts will be sawcut 12 inches beyond curb face (this is a maximum payable amount)
(9) All materials and workmanship shall be in accordance with the standard specifications

(2) Sidewalks shall be 4 inches thick/6 inches thick in drive approaches
(3) All concrete shall be Class A, 1-inch max slump
(4) New sidewalk shall be placed on compacted or undisturbed base and shall be wetted before pouring
(5) New sidewalks shall be trowelled and finished to a broom finish
(6) Edging and dividing tools shall be used after brooming operation on new sidewalks
(7) All disturbed/filled dirt areas shall be graded, seeded and strawed
(8) All materials and workmanship shall be in accordance with the standard specifications
