§ 52.023 DISCONNECTION FROM MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION AND TREATMENT SYSTEM.
   (A)   Should an owner decide to forfeit the sanitary sewer connection, a disconnect form shall be completed, signed by all owners of record, have the signatures notarized with the completed form returned to the Town Council for approval before proceeding with any disconnection work. Forfeiture of the sanitary sewer collection system would cause the structure not to be inhabitable.
   (B)   The owner is responsible to pay the cost to disconnect from the sanitary system. The owner is responsible to reimburse the town for any damage caused during the removal process, and the owner is responsible to reimburse the town for any out of pocket costs expended by the town in providing the owner with service that were specifically for the benefit of said owner.
   (C)   Once the disconnect is complete and verified, the monthly charges will cease. If the owner decides to reconnect in the future, it will be treated as a new connection, and capital and connection charges or similar charges in effect at that time will apply.
