(A) The Fire Hazard Inspection Committee shall have and perform the duty and responsibility of investigating and reporting to the City Council, in writing, the conditions of buildings situated within the city, as defined by the Chapter 94 of this code of ordinances.
(B) The written report shall contain the following:
(1) The legal description of the land upon which the structure reported upon is situated;
(2) The name of the owner or other, if known, together with their mailing address;
(3) The type of construction of the structure;
(4) The contents of the structure, if any;
(5) Whether or not the structure is occupied;
(6) The general condition of the structure with reference to fire hazard and health hazard;
(7) The visible dangers of fire to the structure, if any;
(8) The visible dangers to public health of the structure, if any;
(9) The condition of the structure in reference to its state of repair;
(10) The location of the structure with reference to other buildings;
(11) The condition of the wiring of the structure, if any;
(12) The exit and entrance locations in the structure;
(13) The approximate area of the structure;
(14) Whether or not the structure can be repaired without substantial reconstruction of the structure;
(15) All fires known to have originated in the structure, their dates and times, if any;
(16) The use to which the structure has heretofore been put, if any;
(17) The state of repair of sanitary facilities in the structure, if any; and
(18) Any other information or condition of the structure concerning the danger of fire or danger to public health.
(C) The Committee shall make a monthly report of its findings and recommendations, in writing, to the City Council.
