§ 71.66 SKATEBOARDING ON PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY.
   (A)   The use of a skateboard or skateboarding of any kind is hereby prohibited and shall not be permitted on any portion of the public right-of-way, including sidewalks, within the downtown district of the City of Sweeny, on and along Main Street beginning at the railroad right-of-way at Anderson Park and extending to the intersection of Main Street and Seventh Street, due to the hazards presented by the use of skateboards to their operators and other citizens and in the interest of public safety.
   (B)   Any person, firm, corporation, association or other entity that violates this section shall be subject to a fine of not more than $500 for each violation.
