§ 71.63 RIDING OUTSIDE VEHICLES.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to ride on any portion of any vehicle not designated or intended for the use of passengers while the vehicle is in motion. This provision does not apply to an employee engaged in the necessary discharge of his or her duty, nor to persons riding within truck bodies intended for merchandise.
