Any person, whether principal, agent or employee, violating or assisting in the violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction in summary proceedings, pay a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each and every offense or shall be imprisoned for not more than ninety days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation of this chapter occurs shall be deemed a separate offense.
