The passage of this chapter and the repeal by it of any prior enabling ordinances relating to the establishment and regulation of an Employees' Pension Plan of the Borough of Swarthmore, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, shall not invalidate the Pension Committee of the Borough created under such ordinances, nor shall it invalidate any actions of said Committee taken under such ordinances. This chapter, in such respect, shall be deemed a continuation and codification of such prior enabling ordinances.
