The passage of this chapter and the repeal of any prior ordinances relating to the establishment and regulation of a Police Employees' Pension Fund or a Police Pension Fund of the Borough of Swarthmore shall not invalidate the Police Pension Fund Committee of the Borough created under such ordinances, nor shall it invalidate any actions of said Committee taken under such ordinances. This chapter, in such respect, shall be deemed a continuation and codification of such prior ordinances.
