(a) Public records of the Borough shall not be destroyed, sold or otherwise disposed of except as provided in Act No. 428 of 1968 (1967 P. L. 961) and the Schedule promulgated thereunder by the Local Government Records Committee, as the same may, from time to time be amended.
(b) As mandated by Section 6 of such Act, the Borough hereby declares its intent to follow such Schedule, and each individual act of disposition shall be approved by a resolution of Council, as therein provided.
