§ 34.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT. The scheduling of work periods that, on a calendar-year basis, would result in the employment of a worker for a minimum of 40 hours, not including overtime.
   PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT. The scheduling of work periods that, on a calendar basis, would result in the employment of a worker for less than 40 hours, not including overtime. Part-time employees
are not eligible for any benefits under this chapter other than P.E.R.S.
