§ 96.01 EXCESSIVE AND UNNECESSARY NOISE PROHIBITED.
   (A)   No person shall make, cause or permit to be made or caused any unnecessary, excessive or offensive noise which injures or otherwise endangers the comfort, repose, health, peace or safety of other persons within the limits of the village.
    (B)   For the purposes of this section, the following shall be presumed to be unnecessary, excessive or offensive noise and in violation of the provisions of division (A) above:
      (1)   No person operating or occupying a motor vehicle on a street, highway, alley, park, parking lot or driveway shall operate or permit the operation of any sound amplification system from within the vehicle so that the sound is plainly audible at a distance of 50 or more feet from the vehicle; and
      (2)   The operation, playing or permitting the operation or playing of any electronic device or musical instrument which produces, reproduces or amplifies sound so as to be audible and disturbing to surrounding properties, particularly between the hours of 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
