(A) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be fined not more than $100. Any such violation shall constitute a separate offense on each successive day continued.

(B) (1) If such area of the sidewalk or around the fire hydrant is not cleared within the 24-hour period, the village may cause such snow, ice, dirt or any other debris to be removed. Upon such action, the village may charge such occupant or owner an amount equal to its cost plus 100%. However, in no case shall the charge be less than $20. Such charge is due and payable to the village by the owner or occupant upon presentation by the village of an invoice for its services. In the event such invoice is not paid within 30 days, the matter may be referred to village legal counsel for collection or may be certified to the County Auditor for collection with real estate taxes.
(2) The remedy provided for in division (B)(1) above is in addition to the penalty provided in division (A) above.
