§ 32.08 CIVIL CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.
   (A)   Creation of office. There is hereby created the position of Civil Code Enforcement Officer, who shall be appointed annually by the Swansea Village President of the Board of Trustees with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees for a term of one year or until his or her successor has been appointed and is qualified. If more than one Civil Code Enforcement Officer is appointed or authorized, the same approval process shall apply.
   (B)   Duties. The duties and responsibilities of the Civil Code Enforcement Officer shall be prescribed as set forth by the Code Administrator with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees and shall include the authority to enforce this Code of Ordinances and issue citations for any violation of this Code of Ordinances, except for any violations that are moving traffic violations under the Illinois Motor Vehicle Code (625 ILCS 5/1-100 et seq.) or similar provisions contained in this Code of Ordinances.
