§ 119.02 PERMITS AND CERTIFICATES REQUIRED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in, conduct or carry on, or to permit to be engaged in, conducted or carried on in or upon any premises in the village the operation of a tattoo or body-piercing establishment as herein defined, without first having obtained a permit from the Village President. Prior to applying for a permit to operate a tattoo or body-piercing establishment, the applicant and/or employee shall obtain a health certificate from a licensed physician. A health certificate shall be issued only upon a finding of a licensed physician that the applicant is free from any communicable disease and all employees of any tattoo or body-piercing establishment must also subject themselves to an annual physical examination by a licensed physician. It shall be unlawful to employ any person in the business of a tattooer or body-piercer who does not hold a valid health certificate. Furthermore, all persons shall be required to secure $1,000,000.00 liability insurance in order to operate a tattooing or body-piercing establishment.
