(A) The Village Board of Trustees shall supply the necessary apparatus and equipment as may be required from time to time to maintain the efficiency of the Department and its ability to protect life and property.
(B) No fire apparatus or firefighting equipment belonging to the village shall be taken from the engine room, except in case of fire or other emergency without the permission of the Chief or next ranking officer.
