The Chief or ranking available officer shall have control of the Village Fire Department, firehouse and all fire apparatus belonging to the village to include the repair and upkeep of same. Whenever any fire apparatus belonging to the village is in need of repair to make it safe and serviceable, the Chief or ranking available officer will cause the same to be done without delay. Repairs will be accomplished in accordance with guidelines of the village, purchase orders, cost limitations and the like.
