§ 35.002 OFFICE OF CHIEF CREATED.
   (A)   There is hereby created the Office of Chief Police. The Chief shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Village Board.
   (B)   The Police Chief may be removed or dischargedpursuant to the Illinois Municipal Code, 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-17.
