§ 33.37 UNIFORM ALLOWANCE.
   (A)   Every new police officer shall be provided with appropriate uniforms and equipment which shall consist of: four long sleeve shirts; four short sleeve shirts; four trousers; one pair shoes or boots: four turtlenecks; one all-weather coat; one raincoat; one ballistic protection vest; one hat: one handcuff case: one portable carrier; one key keeper; one glove pouch/pager holder; one taser holster; one CPR mask; one aluminum report holder; one aluminum ticket holder; one PC spray holder (if requested); one traffic safety vest; one flashlight holder; four belt fasteners; one ammunition holder; two set handcuffs; three badges; one gun belt; and one holster; and other equipment necessary to perform his or her duties.
   (B)   (1)   Thereafter, every uniformed police officer shall be granted a $500 uniform allowance at the beginning of each fiscal year. Plain clothes officers shall receive a $700 uniform allowance at the beginning of each fiscal year.
      (2)   The uniform allowance may be used for the purchase, replacement, repair, cleaning and maintenance of required or authorized uniforms and equipment. Such allowance shall be in the form of a line-item cash voucher system in the name of each officer.
      (3)   Any unused allowance at the end of each fiscal year shall accumulate and remain, except that no payment shall be made upon termination for any unused allowance. Upon termination, all uniforms and equipment shall be returned to the village.
   (C)   Every new police dispatcher shall be provided with appropriate uniforms and equipment.
