(A) Any person operating an all-terrain vehicle or utility-type vehicle shall have liability insurance coverage for the all-terrain vehicle or utility-type vehicle while operating the all-terrain vehicle or utility-type vehicle within the village. The liability insurance coverage required herein shall be provided by policies of liability insurance consistent with the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Act, Neb. RS 60-501 et seq. to the same extent as if an all-terrain vehicle and a utility-type vehicle were defined as a motor vehicle therein.
(B) The person operating all-terrain vehicle or utility-type vehicle shall provide proof of such insurance coverage to any peace officer.
