§ 72.05 TRUCK PARKING, LOADING AND UNLOADING.
   (A)   No person shall park a truck, the extreme length of which, including bumpers, attached trailer or other attached load, exceeds 19 feet, or a truck containing livestock, on a street which the Board has designated to be a “No Truck Parking” area, or upon any asphalt street, unless loading or unloading in any alley is impossible, and then said vehicles may stop, stand or unload only after the operator of said truck has obtained written permission from the Village Utilities Superintendent to do so.
   (B)   No person shall park a truck, the extreme length of which, including bumpers, attached trailer or other attached load, exceed length 19 feet, or a truck containing livestock, within a Residential District except for common carriers making a pickup or delivery, or where the owner-operator has parked immediately adjacent to and in front the residence of the truck owner-operator. All semi-trailers stopped or parked in residential areas shall be attached to the semi-tractor and shall be unloaded except for any common carrier making a pickup or delivery.
   (C)   In no event shall parking in a residential area exceed a period of time longer than 24 hours from the time of parking until the time of removal. The village may by resolution designate any street or portion thereof where the parking of trucks shall be permitted. Upon the passage of such resolution, the village shall erect such signage as necessary to delineate the boundaries of the truck parking area.
